Captains Report

The monthly game in King William’s Town attracted a much smaller field than normal.  71 in the field is a bit dissapponting to say the least.

This month’s Captain’s Covey included King William’s Town Golf Club Vice-Captain Hugo Lindenberg, sponsor and Nomad John Kayula and Mbulelo Jongilanga.  Gentlemen thank you for playing with me.  John please convey our thanks to all at LMA Quantity Surveyors for the generous sposnorship.

Welcome to Steven Bieske.  It was a pleasure inducting you into Nomads and I wish you a long, productive and fun-filled Nomads Career.  We now have a four-ball of Bieskes.  Hell that spells trouble.

A 100 game badge was awarded to Brian Etter and a 5 year tie to Russell Krug.  Well Done gentlemen.

Fines Master, V.M. Ngoqo, had a chance to get revenge.  Well done on a good fines session.  I must admit I was a bit nervous at the start but you did a sterling job.

Next month is the Volvo Masters Amateur and we have invited the Top Juniors and Junior Committee to join us at Alexander Golf Club.  This is going to be a good day were the Juniors can meet the Nomads and we as Nomads can see where our monies are going.  Gentlemen enjoy it and impart only good knowledge on.

To the club as a whole I would like to say thank you for co-operating by ensuring your scores are correctly and timeously captured on the National Handicap system.  Well Done.  I am happy to say that at the June game not one score was incorrectly entered.

See you at Alex on 24 July 2011.

Yours in Nomads

Mark Lindstrom
